Over the last three weeks, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been through a gruelling trial. Fortunately, the former husband and wife will be taking a vacation for the week while Judge Penney Azcarate attends a conference.
“While the trial was out of session for the week, Johnny opted to return to the UK,” an EXCLUSIVE source close to the actor told HollywoodLife. “It’s been incredibly nice for Johnny because it’s given him some personal space away from the media spotlight.” Johnny enjoys the fact that he can go through town on the south coast without being spotted. He’ll use this week to re-energize for the trial’s next phase.”
The insider added, “Music has always been therapeutic for Johnny, so he’s been holding a few jam sessions with his friends including Jeff Beck, who is one of his closest pals. It’s been incredible for him being around people he knows and trusts and feeling all the support and love.”
Furthermore, a source told us just a few days ago that the Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas star is feeling the love from his fans despite his $50 million defamation lawsuit against his former.
“He can almost feel their affection everywhere he goes now,” the person said. “Johnny is really grateful for his fans being so loud on social media and in person during this entire process,” the insider added as the trial, which began on April 11 in a Virginia courthouse, enters week five. It has re-energized him to continue fighting for what he believes is right.”
