In a new Instagram snapshot shared on Friday, May 20, the 41-year-old looked stunning in a barely-there thong bikini. As she went along the sandy shore, Kim gave the camera a beautiful smile with her fully exposed derrière. Kim captioned the photo, which featured a beige two-piece, “sun bum.”

The Kardashians on Hulu star has already discussed why she enjoys uploading swimsuit photographs, particularly as she approaches 40 in 2020. “Like, f— I’m 40 and I’m in the best condition of my life, and I want to post a bikini studying if I want to,” she stated at the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion in June, after she was chastised over a photo of her studying in a two-piece. Kim was studying for the baby bar test as part of her law school journey at the time, which she passed in November 2021 after earlier failing.

Kim also described sharing images of herself in a bikini as “freeing,” adding that “there’s something empowering about that.” North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, are the KKW Fragrance founder’s children with ex Kanye West, 44. “I also don’t want to embarrass or make my kids feel bad if they’re in high school and I’m the obnoxious mother that takes selfies in bikinis.” During the reunion, she told Andy Cohen, “There will be limits.”

Kim also debuted her first-ever swim collection earlier this year with her shapewear company SKIMS, which debuted in 2019. Kim’s distinctive small bikinis were available, as well as bike short, long sleeve, and crop top versions for those seeking more covering and support. “We have a comprehensive wardrobe of swim styles, from brief bikinis to sculpting one-pieces to sultry cover-ups,” she remarked of the collection.
